In all circumstances when you require medical assistance out-of-hours please call the surgery number 0141 339 2960 and follow the instructions on the answering machine. These instructions may refer you to the one of the Out-of-Hours Treatment Centres that are located in the Western Infirmary and Drumchapel Hospitals.  Between 08:00 and 09:00 you will be referred to an answering service.

For advice or guidance before requesting assistance please call NHS 24 on 111 or visit their web site at www.nhs24.com.

Contact in all circumstances should be via the surgery number 0141 339 2960.

Out-of-hours services are generally busy so please think carefully before asking to see a doctor and only do so if you genuinely cannot wait until the surgery re-opens.

In a genuine emergency you should call 999. Chest pains and / or shortness of breath constitute an emergency.
